Overview

Join us for an immersive event designed to empower low-income Black youths through research and simulation, addressing systemic health equity. This event features two segments: a morning session for youth participants and an afternoon Tour and Awards Ceremony for adults. Discover how our program fosters understanding and solutions for health equity issues through evidence-based research.


Afternoon Tour and Awards Ceremony for Adults (2:00 – 3:00 PM):

Program Summary:
Dr. Marcia Uddoh, founder of God’s Little World, will give a brief summary of our program and its impact.

TOUR EXPERIENCE:
Interactive Simulation: Explore the recreated simulated world where youths learned to address health equity through evidence-based research.
Team Building Tour: Engage in interactive activities set in a simulated Venice, Italy.

AWARDS CEREMONY:
Celebrate Contributions: Hear speeches from youths who participated in the program earlier that day and celebrate their achievements.
Major Sponsor Recognition: Acknowledge Southwest Scenic Group for their $33,000 donation of props.
